After finishing up baseball I continued to exercise on my own, but there was something missing. I was always intrigued by the sport of CrossFit so I asked my crossfitter classmate about it and he took me to my first class. I was hooked. The community and competitive environment that CrossFit brings was exactly what I was looking for.
I coach to try and share the feeling of empowerment that comes with being fit. You are capable of so much more than you think, and I feel that being fit and strong helps to accomplish that. The first time you deadlift a weight that you never thought you could ever pick up, something unlocks inside you. So much more becomes possible. Getting strong is hard. Being weak is hard. Pick your hard.
