August 2025 Newsletter

I share that because this month I have a book I'd really love for you to read/listen to. It's put me in a better mood and is slowly giving me a better outlook on life. Something I don't mind having as many of us enter the grinder that is the school year and fall sports season :)

Feeding your body, though not as important as feeding your mind, the best nutrients possible - I've always been a huge proponent. Quality meat being one of them, so I'm stoked to share that we'll finally have the best ground beef you can get anywhere! (details below).

Time to kick it back in gear, folks. The name of the game here is exactly that. Daily moving (not exercise), trying to do a longer fast, prescribed mobility (that's not boring,) and hitting the gym the way we all want to. Get signed up - we have some slots left!

Team up in 3s to tackle a 5k row, 10k bike, and 5k run (one person working at a time).

I'm back on the Whoop after a two-year hiatus. Garmin - I love you, but you're best at watches. Whoop gives me the insights I need to motivate me to sleep, and recover properly. I hate that I need this accountability, but I'm really just a kid in a grown-up's body.

SuppCo App - If you're looking to see how you're doing with supplements or simply how much you're spending each month, this app is incredible and is helping me dial things in.

Power of When - Brit and I were reflecting on this the other day. It's a book from my past that helped me understand when I do best at certain tasks throughout the day and we're NOT all the same

ABC's of success - This book is kind of hokey, very simple, and VERY impactful. Why didn't they make me read this when I was in 6th grade? It should be required reading for everyone who has the potential to think negatively AND who wants to live their best life (all of us). I'm listening to it on repeat on Audible (5x's so far), and I'll keep doing so until the lesson is fully sunk in.

We're going to have beef from the farm (finally) next month.
