June 2025 Newsletter

Last month alluded to the fact that running a gym is hard (and that marriage is sheer bliss). That's an understatement. Someday you're in here questioning if you're even making an impact at all.

Other days you think you're on top of the world due to the positive impact you're having and you come home high is a kite when you get a message like this:

“You need to know that your organization is life-changing. I feel so much better about myself and half of that is the people …beyond the work. Such good people you’ve amassed - you should be very proud.”

As we're almost 1/2 through the year I just want to say thank you for the opportunity, on behalf of all our team, to get to do what we do.

Please come and celebrate how good everyone looks in street clothes tomorrow night + the fact that you helped up raise over $20,000 for veterans service dogs!!!

See you Friday night!

Jon

Some Health Things:

  • Hydrogen water? Yes please. Here are the tablets Brit has had me taking the last couple years.
  • 5 Types of Wealth - Thinking a lot about what is most valuable in life and time keeps moving towards the top of this list. Great recommendation - thanks Laura Carley!
  • Youth sports? I’m lucky to be surrounded by parents who are 5-10 years ahead of me in raising kids. A common theme I hear, and questions I ask, revolve around kids sports and what is idea. I found this podcast very interesting from the standpoint of we letting kids be kids. Here is some solid advice on how we can best let kids be kids

Community takeover - It’s back! We hand over the keys to you while the coaches head out for a day of team bonding and then get to enjoy a long weekend.

We’re looking for volunteer coaches so please reserve your slot here!

Hey - I have young kids also and would love to bring them in to class but we can't take the risk. So please be advised of our kid's policy to help everyone. Thank you!
