I have learned that life is all about balance. In order to thrive, you have to find a healthy balance in all areas. One of those areas that the majority of people neglect is their self. So many people are willing to help others well beyond what they would to to help themselves. Working out/fitness/wellness is in my opinion the best thing you could ever do for yourself.
I played competitive sports for most of my life. When I graduated college and was in graduate school, fitness went by the wayside and my focus was on my studies. I quickly realized I needed more balance in my life and a healthy competitive outlet. I was intrigued by CrossFit so I found a class and "dropped in." I absolutely got destroyed and was hooked from there on.
My profession allows me to help people get back from a tough time in their life, usually injury. Coaching allows me to help guide people who are invested in their own well-being.
